Founded by chefs and ice cream enthusiasts, Duck Island has been hand crafting small batch ice cream in the Waikato since 2015.

We’ve worked alongside the Duck Island team since before they were even scooping ice cream! Over 10 years ago the founders of Duck Island owned and operated a successful restaurant which we assisted with their yearly accounting needs and provided early business advice to ensure they were profitable. We then assisted them through the process of selling the restaurant to ensure they had the best outcome.

Now with Duck Island we meet the team monthly to ensure we are on top of what is happening in the business. To keep up with the company’s growth we have put systems in place to ensure everything runs smoothly, such as payroll and changing the team over from MYOB to Xero. We provide the team with insights to enable them to have the confidence in the decisions they need to make to move the business forward.
