Craig Blomfield

Working with mainly small to medium businesses to build strong relationships, and provide custom business solutions is a key part of Craig’s role as a Director at VazeyChild. Being involved in clients’ decision making before they make their move means Craig can guide them towards the best course of action, for the present and the future.

Craig joined VazeyChild after completing his Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours at the University of Waikato, starting as a graduate and moving through the business to his current position as Director. During this time, he undertook an overseas stint in the UK, working as a group accountant for a supermarket chain.

The majority of Craig’s work lies in management and financial reporting, tax planning and business structuring, and providing practical solutions to complex situations. One of his specialties is detailed taxation questions, including dealing with the nuances of GST.

His work spans a number of industries, including professional services, childcare, property, and he holds the largest agriculture and bloodstock portfolio at VazeyChild.

Craig is particularly enthusiastic about helping clients turn their ideas into reality, and being there to provide business and financial advice every step of the way.

Craig’s goal with his work, and in guiding the firm as a Director, is to provide outstanding service, taking the stress out of clients’ lives so they can be more strategic with their time.
